"Good for a one night stay. Spacious, clean room. Property is dated. There is a pool, but no hot tub. Breakfast was fine- eggs, waffles, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal. No bananas! Priced right, in a decent area. Convenient to highway. One complaint- the water in the bathroom felt slimy and like you couldn't rinse the soap off of your skin. Soft water, maybe? I was not a fan. Otherwise, just fine for one night."
"Hotel is VERY dirty... poorly managed lifeguards play on their personal phone more than they do their job. They have SERIOUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES.... only half the water park worked and not the part with the main attraction , the only thing working was the lazy river and the kids ankle deep water. If you ask speak to a manager you're gonna be told ten different stories. Our room had food and clothes still on the floor when we checked in i'm gonna ask for a manager again , when we checked out and I had expedia on the phone explaining to the staff number , how bad the hotel was the person on duty which was a so called manager told me which expedia herd they would be giving me a full refund fast forward two weeks later after reaching out to the hotel every day with Expedia, on the phone still have not talked to a manager still have not got a refund.Save you money , go somewhere else"
"The hotel has a really fun, funky, upscale-yet-approachable aesthetic to it that fits well for the location. The furniture and furnishings fit well within the aesthetic but they are very "tired" and could stand to be replaced. The limited menu at The Heights was surprising given the recommendations we received to visit there; nevertheless, the pizza was outstanding and the beverage offerings were plentiful. Our breakfast at the BRIM restaurant was delicious, too, and the hostess was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The hotel graciously extended our check out time upon request so that we could enjoy our breakfast and not be rushed. The hotel's location is picturesque with great views of the Maumee River and the Toledo downtown skyline. We would stay here again."
