Lovely hotel great facilities and pool. We loved staying there but the restaurant and bar would benefit from a seasoned head waiter

We were looking forward to staying at this property but it turned out to be a disappointment. All of the staff is young and lacks professionalism and knowledge. They have a spa and two pools, but at check in the staff does not tell you about any of the amenities. We didn’t know there was an outdoor pool until the day before we left when we stumbled across it. The room and bathroom were clean, but sparse with poor lighting. The bed is very uncomfortable. The bar staff cannot tell you about any of the wines that they serve. There is plenty of parking and the car park is secure.

What an amazing relaxing stay!, we've had such a great time, mostly due to the super friendly ans professional stuff, apart from the actual hotel and amenities. Food at the hotel and bar is delicipus and the seelction of drinks and wine outstanding. Perfect hotel for a relaxing break in Portugal but also close to different attractions and activities in the Douro valley.

We had a really lovely stay in the Douro Valley. Pedro at the front desk was beyond helpful. He booked us an amazing vineyard tour/tasting. Everyone was beyond helpful and friendly. The hotel is nice, clean and offers a very nice breakfast and onsite snacks. We were a little confused when we pulled into the property on where to park - the garage is under the property. The pool is beautiful and made for a nice place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee.

Wonderful experience!

Beautiful hotel, perfect for a relaxing couple of days during our trip all over Portugal. Best hotel staff we came across throughout our entire trip - super attentive, professional and kind. Great spa facilities, indoor and outdoor pool, incredible attention to design detail - all making this stay a wonderful one.

A must stay!

The hotel was spotless, beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner there one night, which was also very reasonable and delicious. I loved that they included a bottle of wine with the room. They had a wonderful bar and hang out area so we could go drink wine and play cards.

Rooms were just okay, quite basic, very stark. The property, lobby, and restaurant were beautiful which was quite a contrast to rooms. Carpet was a bit dirty and musty smell in hallways. Pool and bar area was beautiful. Town was extremely quiet when we were there and unsure of walking around at night. Exceptional wine tour by Bambuti arranged by hotel. Overall a nice stay.
