"The room was very clean, staff all around were pleasant and most accommodating. Unfortunately, the bar and restaurant are closed and getting a taxi is a challenge."

"I would recommend this hotel. The unit we have was set up like a French Gite. Outside under cover was the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Inside plenty of room with a TV, WiFi, master bed and two single beds. En-suite with shower. Staff were family and spoke several languages. We ate at the restaurant on New Year’s Eve and the food was excellent. Would recommend the restaurant. There is a small swimming pool but the beach is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Good location to explore from. Plenty of parking."

"L'accueil de Valérie et Mathieu fait certainement partie des meilleurs que nous avons connus. Le bungalow était exactement comme décrit, le cadre était idéal pour se reposer et l'emplacement idéal pour visiter Basse Terre en étant au calme. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ces hôtes de qualité !!"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The large room with sea view was very good and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was very good, lunch ok and evening snacks good. The bar shuts at 2200, which is good. There is a lovely beach/forest walk to the next beach. The bus stop is a short walk away with regular buses to Deshaies and other parts of the island. The island is beautiful and easy to get around. "
