"Honestly, the staff were so bad it was ridiculous. From the moment we arrived, they came across cold, blunt and completely uninterested in guests. My partner isn't Moroccan and the way he was spoken to felt noticeably different and uncomfortable. Most interactions felt like we were inconveniencing them simply by being there.
I found myself having to be overly friendly just to get basic hospitality back, which made the whole experience feel awkward and forced.
The evening entertainment was also a let-down. The show lasted around 15 minutes at 10pm and then that was it. My partner and I sat in the lounge area afterwards to enjoy the desert atmosphere, but a staff member kept circling around us and watching us. It became obvious he was annoyed that we weren't back in our tent by 11pm. They eventually switched off all the lights until the place was almost completely blacked out, leaving us with little choice but to call it a night lol.
To top it off, our taxi driver back to Marrakech told us that out of all the Agafay camps (he’s a local there) , this one is known for having some of the poorest hospitality. He even mentioned they don't offer drivers something as simple as a glass of water while they're waiting, which says a lot about the overall attitude towards people.
The desert itself was STUNNINGGG😍… but you can get those pics elsewhere!!! The hospitality fell far below expectations. I won’t be coming back, and I recommend to pick another camp."
"Cannot say enough about this property!
Everything was Five- Star; staff, amenities, food, rooms
Entirely run on Solar Power, with a beautiful pool, several fire- tables, and wonderful staff attention"
"Enjoyed our last minute stay in an apartment room and actually extended it by 2 days as everything was just so easy and accessible. Staff were excellent, friendly, professional and very helpful with things even outside their remit. Hasna who works at reception in particular was such an asset to our stay and made our time at the hotel so easy and hassle free. Proximity to the airport, cafes, supermarket and restaurants (not in the media) is great. Pools, spa/jaccuzzi, etc. are good for the price. Food could be better but there are nearby options you can find using trip advisor. Would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something calm and relaxing that’s more than sufficient and very good value for money. "
"The tent was lovely, the pool area was thankfully not busy, so very peaceful and the BBQ was great (1 between 2 is plenty, very generous portion).
I had major issues contacting the property through Expedia and that caused stress. I suggest they work that out.
The evening show and food were poor."
"We stayed one night at Caravan by Habitas in Agafay and overall left feeling a bit disappointed. The setting is beautiful and the concept has a lot of potential, but the experience did not fully match the premium image and price point the property promotes.
The biggest thing missing for us was attention to detail and the personal touches that make a luxury stay feel memorable. The staff was polite, but the hospitality often felt more functional than warm or proactive. Small gestures, such as a handwritten welcome note or a more personalized approach, would have made a big difference.
There were also several smaller details that individually would not have mattered much, but together made the experience feel less polished than expected. Around 9am, the pool area still had towels left from the previous day and no fresh towels available yet. There were also visible objects and items around the pool that took away from the atmosphere. The amount of flies around the bar and dining areas also did not help the overall experience.
That said, there were definitely highlights. The food was genuinely very good — dinner was excellent, breakfast was delicious, and one of the best Aperol Spritzes I’ve had in a long time. The bread-making experience was also a lovely moment and probably the highlight of the stay.
Overall, not a bad experience, but not one that fully lived up to expectations either."
"Les matelas sont extrêmement durs. Pas confortable du tout. Le drain de la douche ne s’écoule pas bien. Donc on a vite les pieds dans l’eau jusqu’aux chevilles.
La nourriture est correcte mais sans plus. Par contre, l’assiette de fruits est splendide.
Le site est très beau."
"The hotel is very cheap in cost and it looked brand new. Staff are very polite. The only thing that I didn’t like is power went out for two consecutive afternoon as there was a power issue in the area. But overall staying here is great. Do not use 40140 Marrakech as address when you uber, put Massira Social Living on the search bar. I got lost with the address given by expedia."
