Two main issues, when I arrived the apartment (1) smelt terribly of damp, probably mainly to do with the fact that no windows were able to open. "The property was good for a cheap and quick stay for the Great North Run. The staff are nice and the property is clean. They do not provide soap, shampoo, toothpaste. There is no hair dryer. "Great stay! Had 2 rooms for our party and both rooms were extremely clean and comfy, with lovely toiletries, kettle, teas & coffees etc. Very comfy beds. The reception area is lovely and modern too. Every member of staff we encountered was really friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay great. We had breakfast at the hotel 2 out of 3 mornings we were staying and both times it was great - something delicious for each of us. Lovely buffet selection, hot drinks station and juice stations and great options on the hot menu too (including gluten free options like gluten free toast, omlettes, eggs etc) . Absolutely fantastic location near station, a car park, lots of restaurants and shops) Will definitely stay here again! "
