"Brand new hotel (opened officially December 2024) and it felt like it. Everything was wonderful. Only comment is that the pool had a lot of people who didn’t seem to be staying at the hotel, doing swimming lessons or equivalent. Aside from that everything here was perfect. Would love to have stayed longer!!"
"Excellent room and a softer bed than normal for Vietnam which made for a great nights sleep. Excellent room. WiFi v good and breakfast was fine. Would stay again easily. "
"No doubt that the property is beautiful. I gave it a low rating for a very unpleasant check-in experience. We booked a family bungalow of three bedrooms with Expedia months ahead of the trip. I even sent a request to confirm our booking. We arrived at 5pm. The front desk staff working alone looked confused with my booking. Turned out that they sold our 3bedrooms bungalow to another group. Lucky for us that the resort wasn’t sold out. They offered two single bungalows for us with no apology, refund or a free drink. "
"The property is on a beautiful land and our two bedrooms private bungalow is spacious and very nice decorated. Lot of bugs but that meant we were next to the nature. The service is very good. Food is only okay but we weren’t there for food. "
"We had the most wonderful stay at Anans home. It was the perfect stay after 4 days on the loop. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had lovely amenities - especially the shampoo and body wash which they make. We had a delicious dinner on the property and enjoyed using the games/cards available. Breakfast was equally delicious. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with arranging a car service for us back to Hanoi. Could not recommend Anans home enough, wish we could stay longer! "
"The bungalow is great but the staff is absolutely terrible.
> Check-in
We could not find the staff at the reception. She was sleeping not far from the reception. We called the number on the desk but she declined the call. We sent a message to say we were at the reception. She liked it but did not reply. We had to assume the receptionist was the person sleeping not far from the reception once we saw her.
> Motorbike rental
Don't go there if you want to travel alone - They are not flexible and refuse half day rent or to give you a motorbike early in the morning so that you can avoid the police bribe at the exit of the city. We were forced to leave with a group at 9am before paying the bribe and then breaking from the group
> Food
The kitchen is said to close at 8:30 but it was actually closed at 8:15. The staff was still there but we were declined to order food because the staff already cleaned the kitchen. They offered a frozen pizza if we wanted.
> Charge
We were charge an extra night despite paying everything before check-in on hotel.com. They refund us but it has been complicated....
> Motorbike quality
We had a puncture and had to change the back wheel brake when noticing it was really close to obsolescense. Very dangerous to get their motorbike if you travel without one of their group. "
