"It was a very clean up kept Hotel. Room was very luxurious with a couch and a a chair to match. Highly recommend staying here great value for the money."
"Oh my. Because it was MSU graduation rooms were limited so because of my husband’s birthday this was the last room available. We had a handicap room with a broken safety lock on the door. MI weather was a little chilled and the heat/ac did not work. Maintenance was supposed to come check it out but never showed. Not Friday, not Saturday or Sunday. Tv remote did not work either and had to manually turn on, change channels and adjust volume. Front desk was NO help at all. They spoke very little English. They had a dining area but did not serve breakfast. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she would be in Monday. I asked for a complaint card and was told they didn’t have any. I then asked when would we be able to change rooms and was told maybe Saturday. Since Saturday was my husband’s birthday we left and stayed gone several hours to come back and locked out our room. When I asked why we were locked out and was not given an answer she just rekeyed our room key. This was a very unacceptable experience and especially to celebrate my husband’s birthday. If you are interested in coming here Please do not."
"You can’t get a better value for your money anywhere else in East Lansing. Excellent property, close to grocery stores, eateries and other stores. Breakfast was way better than the Marriott AC Lansing hotel where we stayed earlier."
"The staff was very pleasant so our first impression was nice. Our first room was so bad we needed to move. The 2nd room was barely tolerable but we were stuck. The Kitchen was usable & pots were provided but microwave needed to be wiped down as it still had fingerprints all over. The room was dirty around the floor edges - we did not want to be barefoot, the bathroom tub was rusty & old, the curtains were torn so light came thru. There was a smell in the hallway that another guest complained about and the staff simply used industrial cans of Febreeze to fix it & closed our hallway temporarily! There was trash in the stairwell that was never picked up in the 4 days we were there. Windows outside were falling apart. Our bathroom mirror would not stay on. It would randomly go off for a few seconds & then back on which was scary when showering and annoying when trying to do makeup. I would never go there again "
