"The little village of Agyroupolis where Arcus is located is very quiet and charming. It got a great local feel of Greek countryside and many friendly locals, well used to tourists dropping by, to see the historical places they offer. Arcus I located a couple of minutes from the main square, easy to get to by car or feet. It’s a bunch of old houses, surrounded by a very green and exotic inner garden with a little pool. "I’m reluctant to leave a fabulous review as everyone will want to go there! It was our 4th visit to the hotel & it never fails to deliver on excellence, the staff are amazingly friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant is superb & the views over to the ocean are stunning, the nightly sunsets are priceless, love it there. "

"Had a suite with private pool sea front - lovely room and large outside area. Staff all very nice and attentive. Hotel very clean. Food was generally good sometimes a little bland. Very enjoyable trip to chill out by the pool."

"Overall amazing experience. Very clean, food was varied and tasty. Only downside is the beach was close, but there is no sunbeds for free. You need to pay to rent the sunbeds, as they are owned by another hotel. Service in the hotel was very good and prompt, they were very helpful throughout our stay. Definetely worth it if you just want a couple days of relax and enjoying inside. "

"The lounge offered a very culturally diverse breakfast bar or you could order from the breakfast menu as part of the included breakfast. The staff was out of their way helpful, and they are able to help with booking a car or other excursions on the island of Crete. They responded to all of our requests with grace, kindness and over the top accommodation. It is just outside of Chania city so quieter with big city comforts."

"Amazing! Literally amazing all around! The hotel is new and modern. Very upscale and well designed. Great location. Not really on a white sandy beach, but the swimming area is great. Room was very large and well designed. Huge bathroom with spacious shower and a tub. Included breakfast was amazing - one of the best we ever had. The staff is so friendly and helpful and well trained. Everyone had a smile and super accommodating. Minor issue was addressed quickly and with class. This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at and definitely the best hotel on Crete. Management at the hotel is doing a great job! We cannot be happier! Thank you!"
