Ramada by Wyndham Sioux Falls Airport-Waterpark & Event Ctr
8/10 Good
"We always enjoy the pool whenever we stay here. It is always clean and the staff is continually cleaning tables off when guests leave. Everything in the room was clean for the most part. The only thing that made me raise an eyebrow was that most of the fixtures (anything metal) were covered in a thick layer of rust. (Pictures attached) I’m not sure if this is because the room was close to the pool or if these items were just on the older side. We have stayed here before, and in a room about the same distance from the pool, and did not notice all of the rust on the fixtures. As much as we paid for one night in a small room, I would think these items could be taken care of when they are no longer in good condition. "
"The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The toilet, shower/bath and heat/ac were dated. This Hotel is OK for the price. If you want nicer accommodations, you should stay at a higher priced Hotel. The stay was fine for one night just passing through town. "
"The room was nice and clean and the staff was great. The water was lukewarm at best for my shower on Friday morning. Also on Saturday morning I went down for breakfast around 9am. I got some scrammbled eggs and a couple pieces of sausage. I put one bite of the eggs in my mouth and they were still frozen. Not cold, frozen. I had to spit them back out and then went and threw the rest of it in the garbage. So that was disapointing. I did not use the pool, so not sure how that was, it looked like a decent little pool and hottub though. "
"Front desk staff were curt and good at ignoring you as you stood at the counter. Their explanation of the parking garage was confusing at best. Left note and tip for extra bath towels with housekeeping...got none. The people make it feel more like the big City coldness you would expect instead of the friendliness the plain states are known for."
"Staff were very kind and helpful. You can tell its an older hotel but gradually making updates. Great location! Right off interstate and close to so much. Bathroom could have used a good deep cleaning but otherwise was clean. "
"Staff was rude. We had volleyball and had to be somewhere else at 7am and stopped in around 640am and staff instead of politely telling us that some buffet items weren’t ready hollered from her space to not eat any of the certain food items.
Shower made noise when turning water to hot. Toilet ran so husband had to fix toilet but then next day it needed new equipment and continued to run. "
