Hotel Idafe

Big room in a great location. Seafront around the corner, plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets in surrounding streets. Can also buy water etc. for reasonable price from reception. Rooftop sun lounge nice extra as well. Street can be loud at night but you are centre of Las Palmas so can be expected. Room also feels in need of an update, has a 'tired' feeling. But can't complain at the price.

Excellent value for money

In general: A newly renovated and nice aparthotel in a great location. Close to the seafront promenade and Las Canteras beach, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the bus terminal at Santa Catalina Park. The apartment: We booked a superior apartment, and it matched the pictures exactly, which is unusual. It was spacious, well furnished, comfortable bed, clean and tidy. The towels were changed often. Service: super nice cleaning lady, good service. Reception OK. A big plus: you can buy water at the reception, also 5-litre cans, so you don't have to carry it. On the downside: There was quite a bit of noise from the street at night on weekends, but it's a big city after all, so that's to be expected. All in all: excellent value for money, and we will be happy to return.

The hotel itself matches the star-rating, works perfectly well for it's purpose. Location is excellent. Not too noisy around it, but plenty close to everything. Issue that I had: I chose pay at property for a good reason. They tried charging my card well before checkik local time, which did not work due to an online purchase limit I have in place. After that I received an email in Spanish telling me my booking is cancelled due to an invalid CC.... All the while having chosen pay at property. Not the first message I wanted to see when my plane lands. There is also nothing Spanish to my name. Just felt like a power trip, and somewhat ruined it.

The hotel is situated in a nice area close to the beach. there also are many supermarkets nearby. the room was new and clean with all the amenities like cooktop and a few basic appliances like microwave. there are no supplies like oil, salt pepper etc. It's also situated very close to a lot of restaurants and cafes. The only gripe we had was that the property mentioned on street parking which we thought would be a reserved parking, but alas it wasn't anything like that. The parking in the area is extremely expensive and I would recommend people to pre book their parking in advance to avoid shock. Parking Las Canteras was the cheap one near to the hotel.

Vi hade två olika personer som satt i receptionen dock ej samtidigt. Den manliga var mycket trevlig medan den kvlnnliga var mer intresserad att prata privat i telefonen ute på gatan och visade inte något större intresse för oss, sorgligt.

Beliggenhet-Renhold-Vennlig betjening.

Stedet har veldig god beliggenhet, fra Catalonia stasjonen der bussen fra flyplassen stopper, er det beine veien rett på Idafe,like utfor døren ligger alt du trenger, spisesteder, vaskerier, alskens butikker, busstasjonen med busser til flyplassen og ellers hele øyen, rute båt til Tenerif med flere daglige avganger like nedenfor Catalonia stasjonen, det går an å ta dagstur til Tenerife da båtene går både sent og tidlig,og tar bare 1 1/2 time. Personalet er veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme, jeg hadde to opphold, manglet en dag som de klarte å sy sammen, takk for det, renholdet er perfekt og Canteras stranden ligger like utenfor døren. Prisen er og mye rimeligere enn konkurrentene Jeg ville bodd der igjen. Litt oppgradering kunne vært gjort med kjøkken og bade utrustning og aircondition med både varme og kulde.

På väg från bussterminalen lätt att hitta och man passerar SuperDino och en tvättomat - mycket praktiskt. Stranden bara ca 50 m. Det är en studio jag fick med mindre kök. Jag saknade dock mikro och vattenkokare som visades på bild. Men spisen funkade bra. Inredningen är gammal. Saknade dock safe. Fönstret är inte så isolerande så ljud från gatan stör en del. Jag hade två enkelsängar som stod ifrån varandra och kändes smalt för mig typ 90 cm. Jag tycker att de borde satsa på större säng så att det man inte ramlar ur mitt i natten. Bra städning och trevlig personal. Och prisvärt.

Mukava pieni hotelli lähellä rantaa

Loistava sijainti, meri lähellä ja hotelli ns. sivukadulla joten ei kovin vauhdikasta liikennettä/melua kadulta. Kattoterassi oikein mukava ja siisti. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta, mielelläni käytän tätä hotellia uudestaan. Siivouksesta ainoa pieni miinus,esim. vessapaperia piti erikseen käydä kysymässä ja lattiat olivat melko likaiset jopa heti siivouksen jälkeen. Roskakoria ei ollut huoneessa, sen otimme käyttöön keittiön kaapista. Keittiönurkkaus ja iso jääkaappi oli myös hyvä juttu.
