Review of MGM Hotel Las Vegas:
I have been a long-time fan of the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I requested a room close to the elevator due to knee problems, which they accommodated. However, upon entering the room, it was dirty, the door was left open, and it was evident that someone had just vacated the room. The bed was messy as if someone had been lying on it for a while, there was a used water bottle, the TV was on, and the bathroom smelled strongly of feces, indicating recent use. This was incredibly uncomfortable for both me and my wife, especially arriving close to midnight. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available near the elevator, so we were forced to accept the dirty room.
Additionally, we encountered issues with the room key not working properly. We had to visit the front desk multiple times to get new keys, which was frustrating considering the hotel's large size and the distance to our room on the 16th floor. Despite repeated attempts, the hotel staff couldn't resolve the door issue or provide an alternative room.
Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing and marred what is typically a favorite hotel of mine. While the hotel offers great amenities like excellent restaurants and a spectacular casino, the cleanliness and door issues severely impacted our trip. I hope the hotel addresses these issues to maintain its reputation in the future.
