"Facilities were really clean and well maintained. Staff was super friendly. And breakfast was really nice too. I didn't have much time to venture into the city, but the hotel is right downtown."

The staff was extremely courtious as well. One unique feature is that it is the only hotel in the world made entirely out of pumice (volcanic rock)"

The staff also claimed hotel does not accept pre-paid reservations as a matter of policy and hence I would have to pay them in cash as they also did not have any way to receive payment by credit card. Since I had insufficient cash on me anyway, I refused to pay twice for what was already way overpriced accommodations in Latacunga, Ecuador. "

"It is an older hotel, beds sag but it is very clean, staff was great and showers hot, it's also the best location I could imagine. My only real complaint would be that smoking is allowed and when there were smokers on my floor the smell was enough to be bothersome. "
