Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston
The city Park was close by and the QVMuseum not far by foot. I did not use the wifi as my security advised it was not safe! Our breakfast was not on our bill but I told the staff member we just had breakfast, so he added it. I appreciate it was busy. Loved the hotel.

Commodore Regent Launceston
Check in was extremely disappointing. The twin room I had booked and paid extra for a month in advance was unavailable, so was given a single room next to main road. Traffic noisy all night. However I did get refund of extra payment.

Nice comfortable room. Parking was really good. Bar and restaurant good area with friendly staff. Very small fridge and would be nice to have a toaster and minimal utensils.
