"I wish I could say it was great- it was in the process of upgrading, so no kitchen or bar was open. The location was very convenient to Train& bus stations, the mall, a few bars. I would go back."
"The hotel, location and staff were excellent. It was just what we needed after a few days in Edinburgh and a long drive. Loved the self-service laundry facilities too. Although, they need to find ways to prevent guests leaving their clothes in for longer than needed. Breakfast was also good. I woukd definitely stay there again. Special thanks to Hayley on the front desk who came down to meet us and collected our bags, when we were trying to find parking."
"This hotel is well kept and quiet considering it sits just off Union Street and close to one of the main roads through Aberdeen. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were chatty and very friendly. I would come back and stay here. NCP is right next to the hotel although Sat Nav takes you to the exit of the NCP and it’s on a dual carriage way so a bit tricky to get to. After you’ve been around a couple of times you’ll get there lol"
"The room was an ideal size for me travelling alone. Perhaps a little small if two using the room. The double bed was a good size. Sockets are not conveniently located in the room so take a longer charger cable so that your phone can be charged on the bedside unit, of which, there was only one.
I noticed straight away that the lighting was too dim for my needs. I have to put every one on to get to a reasonable level but it was still on the "romantic meal out" end of the brightness scale.
The shower curtain was badly fitted so didn't cover the bath end, only the side as it had all the rings on one side of the ceiling mounted bar.
The hotel location was perfect for the gardens across the street, His Majesty's Theatre (200m away) and Union Street main shops.
I got a great deal a few days before travelling which included breakfast. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and covered every food type you'll want from a morning meal before heading out to explore."
