Slightly outdated rooms but very clean. The staff are all superb. Centrally located right opposite train station and Mannlichen cable car. The Fondue restaurant downstairs does unlimited cheese fondue every Thursday which is a winner. Shame no hotel bar, we would have spent more time there.

Mario was fantastic. He was very friendly and helpful. There was always a hello and a greeting. He provided a breakfast for us as we left the hotel at 5am to catch our trains which was unexpected but very appreciated. There is no A/C but they provided a fan which was great. Breakfast was good. The location is fantastic as it is a 1 min walk to and from the trains. Pillows are terrible. Even doubled up they were as flat a a pancake. Overall, great experienced.

I went in the summer. It’s a nice hotel. Our room was large with living room, balcony and Mountain Views. The interior in the room is outdated. Spa area is very nice. Breakfast was just ok. For a 4 star hotel, which is expensive, there’s a lot of attention to detail missing.

The hotel itself was very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. Super convenient for train access. Wengen itself is a great base station for exploring the Jungfrqu region and I would recommend the Hotel Silberhorn as a good place to stay. The breakfast buffet had a good selection to get your day started. The restaurant for lunch/dinner had very few options on the menu, and then there was a specialty fondue night and they didn't serve anything else but fondue. The menu is very limited so we ate elsewhere most days. The bar was never staffed that we saw so we went elsewhere for drinks as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Silberhorn. Our suite included a separate living room and bedroom, and every window had a beautiful mountain view facing the cable car side. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the breakfast was delicious with several hot food options each morning. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Wengen train station and within walking distance of many restaurants and scenic village trails. The air conditioning was not very strong, but opening the windows brought in cool mountain air and made the room comfortable. Overall, the spacious room, stunning views, and excellent location made for a very enjoyable stay.
