4/10 Poor

"I paid extra ($600 a night) for a room with a balcony and a view of the valley and alps. When I arrived I was given a room on the back with a tree in front of the window. When I showed my reservation, I felt the manager blamed me for not contacting the hotel and saying Expedia/hotel.com didn’t show this on the reservation. We did end up getting a two bedroom suite with a balcony. It was large, very nice shower. However, the carpets were very stained as was the couch. The balcony had cigarette butts on it and a piece of broken glass. The place needs an upgrade for sure. I was disappointed for the price. Breakfast was excellent except on Sunday. Seemed they ran out of things by 9 and did not replace. Breakfast did not end until 10. Overall, I would not recommend for the price"

"The room was clean, the property was quiet, the food at breakfast was delicious. Our view was good. There was a small issue with the elevator, but staff got it working very quickly. Unfortunately, the hot tub and spa area were under renovation and there was no indication on the website. I chose this hotel because it had a hot tub, so that was a disappointment."
