Hotel Mürren Palace

"Stayed in a senior suite (family of 4). This hotel was perfect! Service was excellent, we were picked up from the cable car and luggage was transported to the hotel. The front desk staff were all very helpful and the messaging app is great if we needed anything by throughout our stay. Accommodations were perfect as we had a kitchen area and 2 separate bedrooms. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and it was hot the first night as there is no air conditioning but the were provided with extra fans for the bedrooms the following nights and that helped a lot. The corner bistro was excellent and our server was very attentive and friendly. The town itself is picturesque and feels like you’re in a fairytale. 100% would recommend!"

"The hotel was beautiful and historic. The walk up the hill with luggage was doable, but for those needing assistance, you can pay for a ride up. Being up on the hill made for a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Being an older hotel, there were minor issues, but that was part of the charm. Our rooms were on the top floor and there was no air conditioning so a bit uncomfortable sleeping. They did have fans in the room which was nice. The kids slept in a loft and they thought that was fun. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again."

"The room was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely throughout, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Housekeeping standards were excellent. That said, the room itself was very basic. Amenities were limited to hand soap and shower gel, and the pillows were flat. Food was the weakest part of the stay. Breakfast had very limited hot options, essentially just fried eggs or pancakes, and not much for anyone with intolerances. Dinner is a fixed four course menu that leaned heavily on cheese. There is only one alternative main for vegetarians, so we ended up with cheese based dishes for both starter and main. Some variety, or the ability to swap a course, would make a big difference. Worth staying for the location and the cleanliness. Manage your expectations on the food and pack your own pillow if you are fussy about them."

"Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice! We had an awesome stay here! I will say the breakfast was interesting. You have to reserve the night before, before 2000. The breakfast could just be included in my opinion, no hot food just breads, cheese, meat, cereal, boiled eggs. Nonetheless, phenomenal place!"
