"The hotel looks like it needs attention, walls are beat up and scuffed. The hallways are dark. My bathroom floor was filthy. It just needs attention to detail. I most likely won’t stay here again. "

"I gave two stars because of the staff lady checking me in. She was rude and not accommodating at all. We arrived early from a cruise, couldn’t get our room, and was told room before 1pm would cost $40. We had a handicap room and apparently the people before us had a late 12:00 checkout? I don’t believe they had just one handicap room in the entire hotel. I asked when can we expect then to get our room? She said probably 1pm. We saw the people check out and leave at 12:15. We finally got our room at 2pm after watching so many others check in before us. It was very difficult sitting for 5 hours with a knee brace on. Each time I walked in to check, she said we’re working on it. She ‘worked on it’ for 5 hours? This was my second stay at Homewood and will be my last. Btw my first stay was awesome. They lost a customer. "

"Minimum work by staff, breakfast is okay but nothing fancy. Having said that, it's all clean, rooms are comfortable, swimming pool is really nice. Perfect for a one-night stop."

"The room gave off side of the road motel vibes, maybe because the property is very old and outdated. (For instance the bathroom was so outdated that the toilet room where the bathtub/shower was, had old blue bath tiles you’d expect to see in your grandparents house, with old fixtures and wallpaper.) The place wasn’t super clean, but it was clean enough that we could sleep easy enough without thinking much about it. And best of all, we never saw a single creature, bug, insect, not even an ant! The immediate area was a bit deserted, however there was a Dennys and an Olive Garden across the street, with a few good stores nearby. Decent shopping options as well within a 2.5 mile radius, including a Walmart SuperCenter"
