"Chambre beaucoup moins grande que l'impression des photos. Pas de chauffage dans la chambre et vu qu'on est en hiver c'était un peu limite. Fin de la deuxième douche à l'eau très tiède les deux matin. L'accès Internet ne fonctionnait pas, pour tout on était bien connecté sur la box. On a pas très bien compris pourquoi il y a 4 étoiles, il n'y avait même pas une boîte de kleenex dans la chambre... Une page A4 complète d'interdiction qui ne rend pas le lieu accueillant. "Room was alright, but got eaten alive by mosquitos overnight which wasn’t great, and when I walked over for dinner and a drink the bar / restaurant was all shut up. It wasn’t late. Place is just on the highway so unless you fancy a walk to the neighbouring hotel (15mins) or another drive you wont find any alternatives for food / drink. "

"hôtel fantastique, parfaitement bien restauré a partir d'une vieille bâtisse. le confort, la taille des chambre, la déco, la cuisine ... tout a été parfait au point de nous inciter a prolonger notre séjour. le personnel est très sympathique et décontracté tout en restant professionnel. le climat de novembre ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine, mais le spa est d'autant plus apprécié."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. Everything is as described. Clean. Perfect location. Small parking lot next to their building. The breakfast was expansive. The staff were all so friendly even though I don’t speak any French. 100% would recommend and stay here again. Get the ocean view room. "

"My first room had a horrible smell. I was told they have it when it is windy. Too bad there is always wind in Sete. I had to argue to change it to another room. I was given a lower category room so the no offer to compensation. In the new room the sink did not drain. There was no hot water in the morning for the shower. No excuse offered. Seemed business as usual. Never again."

If you have a ferry from Sète then this is for you

"Probably one of the worst Ibos Budget hotels I’ve stayed in. Tiny room, barely enough space to get round the bed. Really takes ‘no frills’ to the extreme. The positives: if you stay here you probably want access to the ferry - which is practically next door. Parking behind the hotel. The town centre is a bit further but walkable. There is a carrefour supermarket nearby to stock up on whatever you need. Negatives: where to start. Tiny room as mentioned, pitiful breakfast, codes to remember for room, lift, and staircase -all different. No lunch/dinner onsite at the weekend - the food shed outside looks pretty basic. "

"Comfortable, spacious and quiet room. The hotel is on a side street off of a very attractive plaza called Place Victor Hugo. This is an older building and it shows to some degree, but was very clean and the breakfast room was particularly nicely decorated. Staff was accommodating and helpful. The parking garage under the plaza is very new and has extra-wide parking spaces. The area is very walkable and picturesque, with pleasure boats lining the canals. If you're a fan of the TV series Candice Renoir, you'll find the building that was used as the set for the police station only a couple of blocks away."

"Amazingly idyllic estate for a peaceful retreat from the city. The room was spacious and bright. Unlike most French hotels, this place has a screen on the window, which we appreciated very much. Breakfast on the patio was absolutely enjoyable. There’s a pool that’s perfect for the hot days. Two supermarkets are in walking distance. We had a great time and highly recommend the place! "
