If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. "I rate this property 5-stars primarily because of its outstanding location in Loches. Also, the front desk staff communicated very well in advance of our arrival. Other pluses include the kitchen and living areas. For these reasons, I think the proper is most ideal for young families. As an older couple I would give it four stars for the following reasons. The property is laid out in such a way where the distance from your vehicle to your room is likely to be long and likely to involves one or more flights of stairs. The actual sleeping room with our double bed was so small, there was barely enough room to get around the bed. When we arrived, we had to make our own bed and put in the trash liners. Not a welcome task after driving seven hours. It was clear from the lack of amenities that the host is trying to save money wherever they can. That is fine in some ways, but others were negative. My suggestion is to charge a little more for the room and deliver a five star stay."
