Also, you are given the impression that you are staying in the big mansion, but actually you are billeted in the the annex/building in front of the big house. The rooms are modern and well appointed. "Initially my husband was worried that the hotel room was a little dated however it was really clean, had a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities and was lovely and quiet with a lovely shower in the bathroom. Everything we needed for a stay in Gap and a lovely half an hour walk into the old town along a lovely pedestrian walkway. Ate at the Indian restaurant Sartaj in town- amazing food! Best curry I've ever had "
