"Surprise d'arriver devant une chambre d'hôtes alors que ma recherche était initialement pour un hôtel avec le confort recherché dans une chambre. Cela qui n'a pas été le cas puisque les toilettes sont près de la porte d entrée qui oblige à retourner proche du salon et la salle de bain est commune. Il est vrai que l'accueil a été tout à fait cordial, la chambre est grande et calme bien qu il manque des voilages aux fenêtres pour plus d intimité. "

"La chambre se trouve chez un particulier Aucune indication qu’il s’agit d’un hôtel Ni savon, ni serviette, juste deux torchons qui font office. Pas même une bouteille d’eau. Frigo éteint. "Hotel bien pour une nuit. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre à 130e mais cela ne vaut pas plus. Cependant chambre propre et spacieuse. SDB vieillotte mais adaptée au handicap. Les mur sont fins nous entendions les enfants des voisins qui pourtant ne devaient pas faire tant de bruits. Si vous souhaitez être au calme c'est pas le bonne endroit ou alors cela dépend de la clientèle du jour. Piscine un peu verte et surtout remplis de produits. C'est indiqué piscine chauffée mais honnêtement...

"Beautiful hotel if your aim is to just flip flop around, lounge by the pool and soak up the sun and smell the surrounding pine trees. Think little lizards, pine cones and pina coladas. We had an upstairs room which had the most beautiful view. All the rooms face out onto the sea, and you get a beautiful light over the water in the evening. The balcony’s are mostly shaded too which is a good thing, it helps to keep the rooms cool. You can hire bikes (€14 / half day) and cycle across the island to the main town quite easily, around 30 mins and very flat. Breakfast was €25pp which we thought was quite pricey, so we decided to make the most of the little fridge in the room and keep some fruit and small supplies for breakfast instead. The lunch menu is a bit limited, mostly sharing / charcuterie style boards, but enjoyable nonetheless for a light lunch. The restaurant dinner menu was more substantial and very enjoyable, and the cocktail mixologist was superb, very calm, collected and made some excellent cocktails for us. Finally, the ‘beach’ is only really a beach at low tide and the water is extremely shallow when at mid-tide. At high tide the beach completely disappears which may put you off, but we were more than happy with the large spacious and clean pool right next to the beach with the ‘lazy river’ to enjoy too as a bonus, complete with sea air. Overall we loved this stay as a couple for our anniversary, and would definitely recommend it."

"Lovely spotlessly clean room with large balcony. Food and service was superb . Excellent breakfast. . Our only disappointment was the small internal bar area which lacked atmosphere - and sometimes staff ! We will happily stay again on our next visit to the Vendee."
