Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bloomington-Normal Airport, IL
4/10 Poor
"We had to plunge our toilet as soon as we got there. There were ants all over the table stands. The pool wasn’t clean. It had murky water and debris a in the pool. The breakfast was horrible and made us sick. Found out that they were warming the breakfast in microwaves and it wasn’t fully cooked and some items were undercooked. Not the best experience for me n my family. I will not rebook here"
"Room was musty, shower was old and had no hot water. Pool was shut down by the health department. The safety bar on the door was broken. Huge gap under the door. Only thing that was “clean” was the bed and the toilet. Severely outdated old hotel that needs some assistance. I ended up leaving after a few hours.. "
"Property outside and in common areas seemed nice. First room assigned had issues with the door lock light would go green and you could turn the handle but the handle would break loose before you could open the door. Once inside carpet was ripped up the handle for the bathroom was extremely loose. Springs were felt throughout and pillows were flat. All furniture was scratched and dinged up. After plumbing issues we got moved to a different with laminate flooring that was shifting and popping up as you walked over it. Floors were sticky upon arrival. Hair on bathroom floor and in sink. Black marks on lamp shades and shower curtain, outlet cover not screwed in and garbage under the bed skirt. Bed sheets looked like they were just re tucked in not changed. Was over charged on what pet fee was listed and got random charges in the middle of the night. All this may sound nit picky but for $135 a night I expect a little more."
Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center
6/10 Okay
"I checked in on a sunday night about 930.. my floors werent swept.. i had a stain on my comforter and the light in the shower was hanging out. Monday night after my conferences i went out shopping came back ordered food hopped in the shower which at that point the light dropped down even more so i cut that short. My food was delivered i sat and noticed half my room was out of power. I did call the front desk can't they did offer to send someone to the room but it was almost 9pm i was in my pajamas and wasnt up for company.. thought it could have been a fuse somewhere. Hate to complain because i was going to bed anyway but I couldn't plug my phone in because the outlets weren't working by my bed.. the refrigerator was off, so my waters. We're called my leftovers had to be tossed and the coffee creamer I brought for my coffee also went bad. Tuesday. I woke up to make coffee realize that outlet was also off.. but i was able to make it in the bathroom those outlets worked.. i have stayed here many times and can tell you I have never had one complaint. This was probably the worst stay i've had. I will probably be back because I go to the conferences held at this hotel and its convenient, hopefully it'll be better. I'm not sure if this even has anything to do with the hotel but this was also the worst year i've ever had parking. "
