"Le Moulin de Chateau was an ideal location to stay during our trip through the Verdon area. The hotels in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie were booked, but Le Moulin turned out to be an even better option. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, the dinner and breakfast they prepared were highest quality, and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. "Just a delightful experience. A small (2 room) place in a villa in Salernes with a wonderful pool. We were the only guests during our two nights stay and it was a highlight during our road trip. A wonderful hospital couple that made us feel so welcome without interfering with our privacy. They served a delicious breakfast by the poolside each morning, including home made cakes. "Arrived at 2.45 pm, no one at the hotel, door locked, no phone number. What do you do? Later a woman from a restaurant, came and called the owners, she was able to get in and gave me the room keys. No elevator - woman’s comment: “You are lucky to be only 1 floor up”….
