"The staff were friendly, check in was easy. The room needed attention. There was a tear in the top sheet and dried lipstick on the nightstand. The shower curtain rod was broken on one end so the rod was just resting on the top of the shower tile and hung a few inches into the shower floor. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. It was quiet and the a/c worked well. The doors had been painted but the paint is on the door handle base. We checked in after 8pm after driving 8 hours and left early to get back on the road."

"We booked simply for a clean room to rest our heads for a night during the Memorial Day weekend - so nothing fancy, just clean. There is construction taking place next to the hotel but nothing active during our 1 night stay. The parking lot had plenty of parking upon arrival. Landscaping was in progress - bags of mulch lined the perimeter of the lot. Lobby was small with a coffee and tea available along with a small vending machine with snacks for purchase. Check in was smooth, room was pre-paid so after giving my ID, I was given a key packet with the room number written on it and I was on my way. You can tell the hotel is a little dated, but our room was clean. Beds were fairly comfortable and pillows were ok. Towels were enough to dry off. Air conditioning worked well and had the typical volume for a motel a/c unit. Overall amenities are minimal and the hair dryer wasn't working, but not enough to complain or concern ourselves with. The room had a fridge, microwave and TV. During checkout, I was greeted by a lady who thanked me for staying and appeared appreciative to learn about the hair dryer. The room could use a little update with bedding and furnishings or something more cost conscious like a new paint color, art work or using brighter lighting as the room seemed a little 'dark'. Outside of the overall age of the property, our stay was as expected. A good, simple - no fuss stay. Thank you."

"I booked an accessible room. No accessible room was available upon arrival. My husband and I both have physical disabilities so having an accessible room is of utmost importance. Front desk clerk was very unhelpful, rude, and inconsiderate. Had to go seek hotel room elsewhere."

"We had a wonderful family weekend stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Albany! The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was great. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the location was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!"

"The room was not clean, old wash clothes, lumpy bed, no shampoo or hot conditioner, no hangers, no iron — it is just a horrible motel. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy."
