"Ethan Allen is a respected name in the Danbury area. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby you can feel the "glamour". But that is as far as it goes. Don't get me wrong the hotel is okay, but it isn't what you expect by what you see when you walk in. The rooms are outdated. I was in a room that had stains in the carpet, walls, mold in the mini fridge, low water pressure in the shower head, and a broken faucet. It was clean, but because of these issues during my stay I got the feeling the it wasn't completely cleaned if you know what I mean. "

"The breakfast was very good. Hot, real eggs and bacon, potatoes, choices of breads and cereals/oatmeal. No fruit to speak of. The staff was all very professional and friendly. However, the hotel condition was subpar. The elevator was filthy, debris all over the floor and scuff marks on the walls. The stairwell reminded me of a parking garage stairwell. The hallway needed vacuuming. The room was clean enough, but our toilet seat was loose, the floors are tile, no rugs. So overall, a clean enough place to sleep and a good breakfast, but definitely needs some updating and maintenance."
