"Check in was great. All staff members we met were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated with nice furnishings. The lobby and other public areas of the motel were nice. Breakfast was good. Our 2 small dogs were welcomed without an exorbitant pet fee. There is a nice designated pet area. We would definitely return if back in the area. "

"The room was clean but it had a couple of major problems. First one of the lights in the bathroom has a major short which is a fire hazard. Second is plumbing ran most of the night due to needing new inside tank parts. Third shower curtain needed remounted. For the last thing when asked if I could change rooms due to the main issue of the fire hazard was treated like I had now idea what I was talking about so I took him up showed the problems then was accused of smoking in the room when I never did and was told that I can’t even throw a cigarette butt away in the trash there. "

"If visiting OSU and convenient location to campus is your primary concern, this place is it. Don’t expect anything else. The $18.00 per night breakfast charge is represented at the property as a “complimentary breakfast”. Usually complimentary means it’s free or included in the room price, not an extra charge. The WiFi, that’s free… if you join their club. Don’t bring a car, unless you want to pay $10/night to keep in there. Housekeeping… that only comes every OTHER day, so don’t expect to come back from your busy OSU visit to a made-up bed and clean towels. Oh, you thought you’d enjoy the jacuzzi for 30 mins before bed (posted 10PM close). Forget that too… the housekeeper that didn’t clean your room will be promptly closing the pool at 9:50PM for cleaning. Breakfast hours are advertised (6:00-10:00a). So, the next morning, you stroll down to enjoy the “complimentary” breakfast (that you paid for) and arrive at 8:55 only to find half of the hot food items are empty. Completely gone. The staff member behind the counter informs you that he wasn’t planning to keep it full because “breakfast is almost over.” Hmm… so during 25% of the posted breakfast hours, the buffet may be empty. Of course, they could make a special batch, if you want to wait around. Overall, the staff are friendly enough, but clearly management is looking to cut every possible corner, cut every service, and charge extra for every amenity that most properties include in the room price.
