Patria Palace Hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of the old walled city of Lecce. A lovely historic building with large comfortable rooms. The staff are anxious to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The breakfast is amazing and a wonderful way to start your day of exploring.

In every respect this property was phenomenal. Modern, well staffed who remembered you and your preferences. Wonderful breakfast and delightful evening dinner on the roof. Make sure you take there limo to their beach club for part of a day.

A very nice hotel. Small, excellent and friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with many choices of fresh fruit and pastries in the buffet and a good range of hot items from a menu. Great location, in the centre of historic Lecce surrounded by monuments, museums, restaurants, cafes and shops. Still, the area is quiet and safely walkable to everywhere.

We stayed at the Patria Palace hotel last week before heading out on a 6 day biking tip. I want to give this hotel a 5* rating and expected to since it’s in the Small Hotel of the World brand, a beautiful hotel and in a great location in Lecce, but just can’t. The good: beautiful hotel, great breakfast and location. The bad: The main reason though I’m not giving this hotel a better rating was the room. Initially we thought it was a fine room, although a lot smaller than our friends whom we were traveling with. When we went to bed, it was very noisy at 11pm and we were trying to get a good night sleep before biking the next day. When we went down to reception to rectify this, they told us that they had put us in a room Beneath the rooftop bar, and had previous complaints about that room and their rationale was that the rooftop bar now closes at 11:30 to accommodate guests. It was loud, I mean we could hear the drink blender from our room. When we pushed, they did provide us with another room on the same floor to sleep in for the none on the same floor so we didn’t have to mover our stuff. But why would they rent a room at almost $700 a night if had previously been complained about. Not the level of service I would expect at that hotel brand or price point.

Beautiful property; service is outstanding. Excellent breakfast; terrace on top floor has great apperitivos overlooking the basilica - excellent experience spending a day at Mora Mora beach club organized by hotel - lunch there was also excellent.
