Fantastic hotel in the heart of Lecce. The room was a little drab and dusty could use a paint job to brighten up the place. However, it was comfortable. Very clean sheets. The breakfast was fantastic however they don’t tell you that they have made to order breakfast, but we noticed someone else on the other table so if you go ask for an omelette, scrambled eggs or fried eggs. Overall, a great location and hotel

Great location walkable everywhere in the walled city. As a frequent business traveler I often stay at hotels like this. Very little unique personality. It seemed to be a spot for several tour operators, which I usually steer clear of. However, staff was attentive, breakfast was great and overall we were content with our choice.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Risorgimento resort from the 3rd to the 5th of June, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Gabriele at reception. From the very start, his dedication to providing top-notch service was evident. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. His professionalism and attention to detail made a significant difference, and I cannot commend him enough for his efforts. I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room, which was splendidly appointed and exuded a sense of luxury and comfort. The air conditioning was powerful and kept the room at an ideal temperature, a much-appreciated feature given the warm weather during my stay. The room's decor was tasteful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The room did not have a balcony, which might be a consideration for those who enjoy outdoor space. Additionally, the bathroom extractor fan was quite weak, which led to some humidity issues after showers. These were small inconveniences in an otherwise outstanding stay. Overall, my experience at Risorgimento resort hotel was wonderful, largely due to the impeccable service provided by Gabriele. His commitment to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay truly set the tone for my visit. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

The location of the hotel is perfect. We booked a deluxe room; it was spacious and comfortable. The minor problems we had checking in were more than compensated for by comping the parking (€40 for two nights) which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. While the room hadn’t been redecorated in some time, it was well maintained. The large bathroom had both a shower and a great big spotlessly cleaned tub with plenty of hot water. My only minor complaints: while I appreciated the plate of fruit in our room, here are a couple of things we would have appreciated more. Having just come from a hotel in Matera at the same price point, where we were given two bottles of water per day from the mini-bar at no charge; here, they were €3 each. Also, at breakfast, at Matera, our waiter offered hot dishes to order (omelets, etc). Here, we would have had no idea these items were available had we not seen another diner having something and we asked. There was no menu to tell us a hot breakfast was available at no cost, and the waiter said nothing. Also, many people now have soft drinks at breakfast; many hotels still charge for it including this one (€4 for a Coke). I was pleased that in Matera, there was no charge. It can’t cost more for a Coke than to make a pot of tea, why not include it? Also, there was no juice of any kind available at the buffet; perhaps, again, had I asked, it would have been provided. Overall, a nice stay at a nice hotel.
