Flawed property.

Finding the entrance to the property was not clear and required repeated calls to the check person to setup. It would help to have detailed instructions about parking entrance to the property as it is not obvious. Flat was well equipped except the batteries in the tv remote needed changing and there were no wine glasses. There was insufficient hot water for a bath in the evening and no hot water to shave in the early morning, very disappointing.

Ok. But basic

Quite disappointed to be honest. The apartment we were in was not the one shown in the picture. It was a little further out of town and whilst very clean, it was lacking in a few ways. For example there were 4 of us (adults) . There was one sofa which was for 3 people. One small dinner table (for 2) and 2 dining chairs. Also only 3 forks. Furthermore there was no furniture on the balcony. The girl who greeted us whilst ok, did not seem to care in the slightest when we pointed these things out. So I would not return there nor recommend it.

Everything is in this appmentment that you need .clean.. quiet .pub and shop on ground floor .not far from first direct stadium..and train station..Highly recommended

Give it a miss..

I booked a room with a balcony and paid extra to do this, I arrived at the property to a room with no balcony. I explained that I had booked a balcony room and I was told there were none left, I wasn’t offered a partial refund either. Hotel says it has a jacuzzi bath, it doesn’t, the bath doesn’t even have a plug. It said there was a full fixed fridge freezer, nope, mini fridge only. Apartment was quite dark and very basic. Comfy bed but no TV in bedroom, apartment was also very cold and I wasn’t shown how to descipher the heating controls.

Great location great alternative to a hotel very clean and comfortable. My only concern was there were a few maitanance issues plugs in the bath and shower didn’t work properly toilet seat slipped to one side and a cupboard handle was hanging off. You have to pay a deposit on arrival thank god I got all mine back in full but these issues were there before we arrived and only noticed after the check in so was a worry if I would get my deposit back. All in all great stay great location and I loved it would recommend but please daughter out the mainternance issues

Check in was very straight forward. Apartment was on the whole clean and tidy. The sofa could have done with a clean and the work top in the kitchen around the sink was badly damaged. Bedrooms were spot on and and bathrooms were spotlessly clean.

Overall a beautiful apartment, would recommend anyone who is going away for a few days. Really clean, up to date (modern) and was really relaxing. However, they state that there is a car park (which there is) but didn’t let us park there (even though we said we’d pay) but apart from that, was lovely

Decent apartment

Good range of facilities. Further up the building the hotter it was. Also a £12 parking charge they don't tell you about until your parked up and in the room. No information on where to actually go to check in either.

Stayed in apartment 403 and the whole checking in process left me a little uneasy. I didn't appreciate writing credit card details on a slip of paper to be charged for the parking. I think if this is to be continued to be offered as an apartment then perhaps something a little more professional may be in order. Parking was a case of following a man walking through a maze of pillars and Cars to the approved bay. The apartment itself whilst the bathrooms were catered for with toiletries the front bathroom had a distinct smell of sewage. Patches of damp on the flooring also in corridor and kutchen. Probably Wouldn't stay here again.

Being an apartment I needed my own breakfast stuff. I forgot to buy the day before and the convenience store didn't open at 09:00, so I had 6 slices of dry toast...my fault I know...just frustrating that a store didn't abide by its own opening times

Nice apartment, could do with aircon...

First stay in gateway apartments and it was very good. Spacious place, well equipped, good location and lovely balcony. Little bit of confusion on check-in as I wasn't sure where to go, had to contact the property managers and wait for someone to come and meet me. It was also lovely weather in late May but this made the apartment incredibly hot throughout the day and at night, even with windows fully open - there was no air conditioning.

Don't tell them you smoke!!!

Mentioned that I was a smoker and asked for a balcony which didn't go down well! The hotel rang me every day askin if I wanted to cancel the room, I told them on several occasions that I didn't want to cancel as it was non-refundable!! The day before my stay I received a call tellin me there had been a water leak in the hotel an I had to be relocated!!! I found this all very suspicious!! I would never book to stay at the gateway again an would recommend, if you've are a smoker, you don't inform them of that fact!! as they clearly don't want smokers stayin in their hotel!!
