"I have stayed here a few times for work and Nicky always goes out of her way and nothing seems too much trouble, I am not a huge breakfast lover but have to say the breakfast was cooked to perfection and plenty of choice, surroundings of the guest house and views are amazing, thanks Nicky and Darren and I shall be staying while im here for work whenever there is availabilty"
"Check in was smooth. Location great for city centre, but you can hear a lot of noise from car park, entrance, hallways and other room doors opening and closing!"
"Weekend break in this property. It was very modern. Tastefully decorated and all the things you need for a nice stay. The only issue was noise from other guests coming and going in the early hours but out of the control of the owners "

Village Hotel Leeds North
10/10 Excellent
"We love staying at the Village hotel when we visit family in the area. We appreciate the facilities and food options in the restaurant along with the friendly helpful staff."
"Very easy checkin and out, helpful bag storage, great breakfast, spotlessly clean theoughout. Very convenient accommodation for parents visiting children at the universities. Good public transport links close by. Have stayed several times over the last few years and look forward to returning. "
"Our trip didn’t quite go as planned, but the hotel staff were amazing. After our flight was cancelled, we had to cancel our original booking, but managed to get a later flight. Carol, the manager, came in on her day off to help sort things out so we wouldn’t be charged twice.
The food was also great; my husband said his fish and chips were some of the biggest he’s had (and he’s had a lot!).
The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed including tea and coffee, a TV, fan, iron and ironing board, and plenty of storage with big wardrobes and hangers. Simple but spot on for a relaxing stay.
Really lovely place with genuinely caring staff.

"I liked the Way it was decorated, in the theme of a log cabin (I really like log cabins )
AND the grounds are Really well looked after.
Because I've just started looking after some grounds about the same size. Maybe a wee bit bigger. "
"I ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine.
The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished
Other than that the stay was very good and some nice cask ales served in the bar

"Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated."
"Pleasantly surprised. Paul was very welcoming & friendly. He gave us advice on taxis and where to go (taxi less than £7 to first direct arena - dont get uber!). Hotel dated but really nice. Breakfast was lovely with enough choice. Room good, bed a bit too soft for me. The fan was a welcome addition as it got hot overnight and the quilt is very warm. Shower was extremely powerful only issue with it is its an overhead shower which isnt great for us ladies not wanting to get their hair wet (luckily shower caps provided but still had to be very careful).Close to the airport but didnt hear anything overnight. Check in & out times generous. Very happy we chose this hotel. "
