La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Downtown Asheville
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for only 1 night, but we were perfectly happy with our choice. Very clean rooms and towels, friendly staff and close to where we needed to be. A very short uber ride to the south slope area for some brewery visits and food. Would definitely come here again!"
"The room was not swept and there were long brown hairs on the bed, and hair dryer. I appreciated that you could use the amenities at both hotels. It seemed like the housekeeper had long brown hair and probably tried but left her hair everywhere. Not the end of the world. But there was also pieces of paper and stuff left on floor so I know it wasn’t swept. Overall, good value for what you get considering the price. We stayed solely for my child to swim."
"Restoration Asheville is an exceptional Hotel. We were greeted with an enthusiastic Hello at the Front Desk and she accommodated an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We booked a room for Disabilities so the bathroom was spacious and the shower was large; really appreciated the removable shower spray. We enjoyed the restaurant and the Roof Top Bar on Thursday night was a nice bonus. Our Valet assistant, Matt was super nice and always offered a Jeep Ride to our restaurant. He even had great suggestions for another restaurant.
The only downside was having to see the park across the street which was not nicely kept. It was used by a variety of people, although, the police presence was reassuring.
Overall, we would highly recommend this Hotel if you are planning on visiting Asheville or the Biltmore Estate. It was only 7 minutes away."
"In a town as small as Asheville, it's hard for a hotel downtown to be inconveniently located. This one is minutes from all the action. The room is above average as are the hotel amenities (incl the omelet station at the breakfast buffet). Parking is reasonably priced. Staff are pleasant yet professional. Overall, would stay again."
