"Very helpful staff, nice size room and disable toilet tastefully decorated and appeared to be a very popular place to stay. It right in the heart of Leicester which is great downside is it I could hear all the partying from my second floor room. Oh there is no parking I think the ncp car park has closed I used the nearby Highcross for parking overnight I was charged £6.50 (bargain). Also very confusing check-in time I’m sure it was advertised as being 2:00pm but the confirmation e- mail I received said 3:00pm"

"Check in was easy and plenty of free on site parking. Bar staff worked hard but you could clearly see they were understaffed. We eat twice, both times outside, the weather was glorious. Restaurant inside was stuffy with no fresh air, or windows open. Food was excellent , served reasonably quickly. Our room although very tired and in need of a new carpet was ok, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom again was in need of modernising but the shower was very good. Location was excellent just a short walk in the village. Overall good and we’d stay again if in the area. "
