"Solo business traveller. Very pleasant staff, good breakfast. Gym was small but perfectly adequate. Clean and comfortable in both room and common areas. Stayed on consecutive weeks and quality (firmness) of bed varied significantly between rooms. Pleasant overall stay. I’d happily return."

"Booked two hours before, just the family room available, after a long drive from the north heading to Somerset. Beautiful grounds, excellent Wi-Fi. The room was dated but clean, large, quiet and comfortable. We didn’t stay for breakfast but had a very nice meal in the restaurant served by a lovely young man called Mackenzie. All the staff were helpful. We rarely travel to the area but if we did we would happily stay here again."
