Great place to stay with good travel links. Basic but clean and very comfortable! Owner in good communication too. Cooking facilities weren’t the best (oven kept smoking) but informed the owner and they responded quickly to say they would look into it. Thank you!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Cheap but disgusting
The place was really run down. Cracked and peeling paint, sofa arm had been ripped off showing exposed screws etc. Bed sheets were dirty and the place looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in an age. £30 ‘cleaning charge’ per night was steep considering how disgusting the place was.

Hi Steven, Apologies for the impression of Lowton Lodge, your booking was made at short notice, and the previous guests had damaged the Sofa Bed so we didn't have chance to replace this in between the guests turnaround, this was explained before you checked in. All bedding is replaced in between stays as standard and as is expected, so apologies again if they appeared dirty but that certainly isn't the case. You had our contact details, and if any of the above had been highlighted then we would have resolved any of the issues you experienced. Thanks for you feedback, we will ensure that such issue don't effect future guests.
