"Receptionist very polite and helpful on arrival To our surprise, we were given Welcome packs for our dogs, which we thought was adorable. Room clean, everything worked except the television, but didn’t report/complain as we didn’t particularly want to watch anything. A fair choice of food for Breakfast,all cooked properly Service was good, staff polite. Overall happy with our stay at this particular Holiday Inn."

"Breakfast excellent but the meat at theSunday carvery wasn't covered by staff all the time and consequently blue bottle flies were walking over the roast beef which put you off. When said about it to the staff member she just smiled and gave a little laugh. Not the most suitable answer. Otherwise the stay was very good."

"It was a lovely 2 night stay. The room was really spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast is well worth the price and the facilities including the pool and gym area had a good selection. The beef brisket was delicious. The room was a bit worn in places but not unreasonably so. Staff were polite and helpful. I would definitely come again."

"Always stay here staff are excellent. Hotel room has everything we need and sitting out looking onto the lake is stunning Food is reasonably priced and you can have it brought to your room for a service charge. Breakfast is good or if you’re going out for the day they offer sandwiches instead."

"Overall we had a good stay. Some staff were very helpful (e.g. reception, especially the blonde lady that was in training and at the bar above reception), others not to much (e.g. the dining restaurant where service was very slow). The rooms were clean although there was a small amount of dust on the TV stand. Generally the room was well furnished, just a couple of finishing touches missing. There weren’t any bath robes in the rooms and it wasn’t clear how to obtain them, though we saw other guests by the pool wearing some. The TV also said every room had a mini bar but ours didn’t. We found the instructions / signage on how to use the pool wasn’t super clear but worked out how it worked eventually. The cooked breakfast was excellent and would recommend it, though the continental selection could have had more variety. We would stay again."
