"The check in was efficient and quick which we appreciated after a long flight. The room was impeccably clean, and it had a welcome note written in chocolate with 4 artisan chocolates waiting for us. The bathroom had a hand held shower head which we prefer, and offered a generous amount of hair shampoo/conditioner and hand and body soap. The bathroom was spotless. The staff work very hard at this hotel to ensure that their guest’s stay is perfect.
The hotel is quiet, so you’ll be assured a good sleep, especially on their ultra-comfortably mattresses. Unlike other hotels in Ireland the rooms are set at a comfortable 19 degree temperature although you are able to increase the temperature at your leisure.
I cannot say enough about the breakfast here. Make sure you include this add-on because it’s the best breakfast buffet you will come across. In addition to the breakfast bar, you can order regular or poached eggs or an omelette.
Their guest gym has a full complement of weight and cardio machines on the 6th floor. They have complementary water and fresh towels available for post workout.
We enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant as well. There was no need to venture out for a good meal if you are so inclined. The location is close enough to the city centre that you can walk to the hotel within 30-minutes or take a short taxi ride. Cabbies are lined up outside the hotel gate. This hotel has it all. I would highly recommend the Clayton Burlington to anyone visiting Dublin."
