"We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop.
It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay."

"Lovely hotel, with warm, welcoming staff, great restaurant and fabulous cooked breakfast. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."
"A really lovely stay, a clean and tidy well presented room with a lovely sea view.
Wonderful, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The Seaspice and Bistro restaurants are superb with a delicious breakfast. 20/10 thank you. It was so lovely we can’t wait for our next visit."
"When we arrived we were allocated a room where the window would not close after I complained we were given another room, so I couldn’t fault their customer service."
"We like Seckford Hall for it's traditional ambience and previously had stayed here in 1977 for the Aldeburgh Festival - we found the programme for the year we had attended at the Red House in Aldeburgh. Our visit this time was to see the site of the historical dig at Sutton Hoo. The hotel is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. There have been a few changes in 50 years and the hotel is well used as a wedding venue. Occasionally there was disco music until midnight but it did not cause us too much disturbance. Breakfast was excellent - all hot food served fresh at the table and a wide choice of cold buffet. We did not get round to eating in the restaurant but there are plenty of good places to eat in nearby Woodbridge."
"We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good.
Staff very helpful and friendly."
"Room fine no problem, breakfast ok, but it was packed and staff couldnt cope, coffee machine, either queue or refreshing itself. No eggs, then no beans, no milk, no bowls. Got there in end, but not great.
Spa was very good, pool great & steam room hottest Ive been in!"
