"The staff were exceptional especially the gentleman who delivered our room service. Unfortunately we didn’t get his name but we were in room 353 on the 26th Oct. You had an event on and were extremely busy but he was working so hard and delivered excellent service. We saw he was also still working at breakfast! Again he worked so hard and was so friendly. A real credit. We will definitely stay again when we visit the area. Thank you "

"We arrived about 6pm. We went through from the bar area to the hotel section and we’re very warmly greeted, given all the info and made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and had good views out. The decor and particularly the bathroom needed a bit of TLC. It all worked but needed the odd bit of paint here and there and maybe new carpets in the halls. Breakfast was fantastic! Overall very good and great for the below average last minute price we paid. The location is stunning!"

"We booked a snug room which was indeed snug (one side of the bed is right next to the wall) but very comfortable and beautifully decorated with lovely chocolates! "

"the managers were helpful carrying our cases up and down two fcloors. no lift there. we found the menu had the same thing on every night. i am a diabetic type two and not everything i could eat apart from the beef steak pie and chicken with rice. i did not want the peppercorn sauce but i asked for gravyt which was bought to me when i had nearly finished the meal. room service could have been better. sometimes no milk ortea bags . one occasion waste paper basket not emptied and cups npot washed. otherwise we were ahppy there. "

"I would recommend The Inn On The Green as a good place to stay. The pub was lovely and clean with a good breakfast served in the morning. The landlady was very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. "

"I was staying because of work, but the accommodation was great, the bed was a bit on the hard side but that’s just personal taste, the room was spacious and comfy and there was fresh towels and toiletries provided. Overall my stay was excellent and I would definitely stay again. "
