"Excellent place! It was centrally located - ideal for exploring the north and south areas of the islands. No more than 1.5 hours away from all the tourist sites. The place is beautiful. The facilities were small but clean - all updated. We had a mini kitchen - with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, etc. the manager/ owner & staff was very friendly & helpful. The place was perfect for viewing Northern lights. We were lucky to see them 2 nights in a row. Few notes - there is no daily cleaning service during your stay. But they provide you with fresh towels when needed. The showers, as some reviewers noted, can deplete the hot water fast. Either do quick showers (7 mins max) or take 45 mins break in between 2 showers. Will stay here again! Highly recommend "

"This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our trip. The staff was incredible, they all provided great tips and were very kind. The breakfast was great and the bar upstairs has a beautiful view of the ocean. They also have great recommendations for Akevitt! The site even has laundry for cheap which is great after weeks of travel! We were also able to charge our electric car on site! We will absolutely stay here again."

"Absolutely phenomenal hotel. We were in a cozy cocoon there in the tiny village of Nusfjord. Incredibly comfortable rooms, cozy beds, heated floors. We also enjoyed really wonderful massages, the sauna and ocean plunge and the amazing restaurants. We did not want to leave! Thanks to the Nusfjord staff. "
