"I called and used your app to communicate about my booking. The management company you had on file said they no longer manage. I had to make other arrangements to stay for the 3 days. They did reach out the day I was supposed to check in at 11 PM, mind you, saying they would honor my reservation. Hell, I had to book a stay somewhere else. "we were looking for just a couple nights close to Sleeping Bear area to hike and bike and this location was perfect. We had a room on the upper level getting a cooler up the stairs was a challenge but not a deal breaker for sure, and BTW we are active seniors so that might not be any problem for younger people. We used the grill and had a meal outside on the deck, walked down the the beach one morning for coffee and in the evening to swim and used the kyacks. The firepit looks awesome but it was too hot to have a fire. We had a kitchenette and worked out great for making breakfast. It had everything we needed. It was quite at night. Would definatly come back again."

"This was a good motel. All the linens were very clean and the room felt clean. I appreciated the large refrigerator and lots of drawers in the room. I was glad they also made sure to have a plug by the bed for your phones. The breakfast was good too. Oatmeal, tons of different granola bars, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. The staff was very nice. The bus stop into town was across the street or it was a little walk. It’s also by a park with a walking path and the YMCA. If you want some fast food or coffee, there were places right across the street."

"The check in process was very frustrating. I arrived around 7:00pm and there were no employees on site. I never received a check in link and walked around the building until I found a QR code but still needed an access code. I had to call customer service for help. This took about 15 minutes in total. I finally entered inside and the building was very nice. There’s a bar that not yet finished. So there aren’t really any amenities. The room was clean but had an odd smell. Similar to cooked broccoli. There was a shared door to the neighboring room and it is PAPER THIN. The people in the neighboring room were drunk and loud. The bed itself was comfortable but the pillows were flat. The bathroom is very nice and the room is spacious. However, the shower ran out of hot water for a few minutes. This happened twice. The location was close to the downtown and marina which made walking around convenient. I voiced my complaints to the company and they offered a 10% off my next stay which the place already feels a bit overpriced. Overall, the hotel is nice if all you’re looking for is a place to sleep in the area. Just be prepared if you show up to check in past 6:00pm and pray you don’t have noisy neighbors."

"Was startled 2 nights in a row by fire alarms going off. I didn't rest well because of this. Good location though. It was a decent hotel, but I've gotten far better value for cost elsewhere. The A/C kept resetting to 68, after I set it higher several times. Woke up freezing a few times and the unit is really loud. I likely would not stay here again."
