"Mostly stunning. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is all about the glorious communal areas.
The room (we went for one with a private sauna) was small, and pretty basic - with not even a bedside table on one side of the bed. No tissues in the room, and only a combined shower get/shampoo in the bathroom, if that sort of thing bothers you.
These rooms also have a sauna building in front of them, so their view of the river is obscured.
We were on a half board package. The food was superb - although it's worth noting the evening meal included is absolutely fixed.
The bar has a good selection of drinks.
All the staff were absolutely excellent. All personable and happy to chat.
Breakfast buffet was also superb (with the exception of the coffee machine which wasn't a bean machine, and therefore the coffee was pretty naff)
All in all - not a cheap stay, but a great hotel in a wonderful location - with amazing staff and great food"
