"This was my second stay at this Best Western and overall this hotel does a great job. I had booked a King suite for the extra space to host family we were visiting in town. No complaints about cleanliness or condition of the facilities. I would recommend anyone to stay.
My only negative experience was with other guests on this particulsr weekend who had children with them for hockey tournaments. Guests allowed their kids to run the halls very late into the evening. Pool hours for people under 18 was like 10 or 10:30. I was hearing boys ages 8-14 or so running the halls until nearly midnight, chasing, yelling, playing in the ice vending room. It was not acceptable and it would have been entirely preventable had parents and staff alike been aware of this, cared, and intervened. I had to step out of my room and address these boys, telling them to stop because people were trying to sleep. It toned down slightly but did not end for another hour. I recognize this was an isolated event."
"I had a great stay at My Place Hotel in Fargo! The room was clean, comfortable, and having a kitchenette was a huge plus. I’ve stayed at the same hotel chain in Dickinson before, and I specifically chose My Place in Fargo for the kitchenette. I was traveling with my grandma, who doesn’t really like going out to eat, so being able to prepare something in the room was very convenient.
We were also in town for a wedding, and I needed to check in about two hours early so I could get ready. Jen at the front desk was extremely courteous, helpful, and accommodating. She made the check-in process so easy, and I really appreciated her kindness and willingness to help."
"It would've been a great stay BUT we've encountered some issues with front desk staff. Reception knocked at 1:00 AM to inform that another guest was checked in under the room that we were staying at and that I was never checked in. And to think that the reception staff checked my ID prior to giving me keycards to the room... and then during checkout, front staff just said "okay thank you"... which makes me question if staff were trained for customer service? Might not consider Comfort Suites next time we visit Fargo."
"The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and beds very comfortable! For breakfast we actually got to eat with real plates and silverware. Very nice patio and a nice restaurant was connected however we did not get a chance to eat there."
