"This is a hip, nice, clean hotel that also works for people who might not be that hip and cool. I really just want a comfortable quiet place to stay when I come to NY but love the vibe and you can have both at the ACE Brooklyn. If you want to have a drink amongst both the Brooklyn locals and visitors from all over you can pop downstairs to the bar--which is always busy. There's a wonderful workspace where you can do some work with a coffee shop steps away(also very busy). The only problem is there aren't many restaurants really close by but the hotel restaurant is really good. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is kind and very 'cool'. Don't know how they pull that off but, they do.
Highly recommend."
"I had a lovely and comfortable room for my stay at The Lodge Red Hook. Rooms are larger and more pleasant than ones I've had elsewhere in NYC. Bed is so comfortable! I appreciated the grab and go breakfast bag of bagel and yogurt and granola, included in the room price. It's a longish walk from the nearest subway, but if you need parking instead, parking at the hotel is good here."
"Perfect place right near Barclays! Rooms are small, as expected (it’s NY!), but was very clean and well kept. Was very happy with the experience from the helpful front desk folks to the room being what it needed to be for a couple nights in BK. Saved and will be back!"
"I stayed with my husband for my birthday on Juneteenth weekend. The pool is small but still a good size just to hang out. There are plenty of lounge chairs and the small bar opens at 11am where they serve/sell an array of drinks, cocktails and food. The rooms are a comfortable and clean, the bathroom being particularly large and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful, including down in the lobby at the coffee bar.
The only con is the check-in and out is a bit lengthy as they only have one person at time attending clients. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!"
