"The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for ..."

Loved it! Peerie Cafe excellent breakfast, Fudge Shop great, String Cafe ok, if a little pricey, Golden Coach, lovely Chinese meal. Easy to get around, locals friendly and helpful.

A couple of nice restaurants in the town centre - Ghurka Kitchen for one. Harbour views are lovely. Spotted some seals, and the wildlife on the cliffs at Sumburgh is amazing. The museum is well worth a visit too.
