"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. Our host and owner of this magnificant château put on delicious breakfasts every morning and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner one night. Our room was stunning as was the property including a very elegant pool and lovely terrace. We were thrilled with our stay and hope to return one day!"

"Overall the stay was fine, there were one or two minor things that one would not have expected from a 4 star hotel. There were only paper cups in the room - one would have expected at least plastic or preferably glass. Although there was tea and coffee there was no milk or even powdered milk."

"Excellent service. The room was clean and in very good condition, but very cramped and impossible to access both sides of the bed. The bathroom was equally small, but was very clean and the shower was excellent. There was plenty of secure parking and the breakfast was good."
