"Location, atmosphere, room & staff excellent. Only minor point that the aircon did not work. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but could have done with the room being cooler to sleep. Would stay again. Nick"

"The pool and sauna area closes too early to enjoy it on the evening of arrival. Then, early in the morning, someone started mowing the overgrown lawn with a loud riding mower right next to my first floor window. He could have started on the far part of the lawn to avoid disturbing guests until late morning / early afternoon."

"Easy walking distance from the train and into the main town area. Rooms were lovely and staff was very kind and responsive. "

"Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was cosy and had everything needed. The location was great and positioned close to attractions. "

"Bedroom layout. Including a sofa meant bed was too close to bathroom doors. Having a separate toilet, means you have to walk round to wash hands. Bath very slippery. Access & egress could be dangerous for the less agile. No continental breakfast is worth 19Euro. On the positive, the room had a coffee machine and kettle. Parking is excellent and the hotel location spot on. Reception staff are very friendly but restaurant staff either don't like the English or are over worked."

"Came to the hotel room we checked in we booked a family room and we went to our room see that the top bunk was full of hair was dusty and dirty there excuses was that it was a free bed when it wasn’t and it was booked for 4 people and how there hotel only had one cleaner. Then found a cockroach on the bed and had been moved to another room and soon as we went in the other room it had a very bad toilet smell and not only that on last day faced verbal aggressive abuse from a cleaner he rushed downstairs to the lobby and was shouting in my friends face in French saying the room was left dirty apparently just as there was a hanger and a few wrappers on the desk and a broken charging lead on the floor and towels which had been used left on one side of the corner of the bathroom as people normally do. It was like he had expected us to to have done the full room cleaning for him seems like he was taking out his hotels under staffed issue out of us never in my life had we been spoken to like that. "

"I am unable to comment on this property. As when we arrived they had no reservation for us. They have taken our money and between them and Expedia we had nowhere to sleep for 2 nights!!!! At this time we cannot decern who is to blame. We will chase Expeida customer services for more answers "
