"Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. "Beautiful old manor, impressive entry to the property. In need of cleaning and extensive maintenance. Beautiful grounds, lots of greenery and extremely lush. Room was very small, but worked. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent. Overall would recommend and would stay again, but would love to see the owners do some overall repairs."

We arrived late but, in the morning, we had a lovely surprise - looking out of our window we saw a very beautiful tranquil setting - the lovely River Selune flowing by the hotel and wildflowers, long grasses, and ancient buildings. The hotel room was clean and spacious, breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very accommodating. We would highly recommend the hotel."
