Sonesta Ocean Point All Inclusive, Adults Only Resort

10/10 Excellent

"I am new to traveling abroad. My entire experience at this resort was fantastic from the location which was 5 minutes drive from the airport, to the beach view and my room, to the helpful friendly staff, various pools, restaurants, food variations, different music events and cleanliness of the resort and grounds. The grounds were also well maintained and very eye catching. I found it to be very relaxing and peaceful and the overall vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. Room service and housekeeping were amazing too. I truly can’t think of anything disappointing or negative to share aside from the fact that my time there was too short lol.. I would highly recommend this resort to others. Thank you to all at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort for making my first true vacation away one of my most enjoyable and memorable times in my life. You guys rock!❤️"

Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach St. Maarten

"Have been going to the Flamingo before it was purchased by Hilton. Hilton did a nice job on the rebuild after hurricane Irma. Room was clean except floor always had sand on it. Staff did bare minimum on checkin, checkout. They did not share much information unless asked. On check out they stated we had an outstanding charge from the restaurant. It took some doing but they found the mistake and removed the charge. We never ate there. Was there for 13 days and they serviced the room twice. All they did is give new towels and moved the sand around on the floor. The view from the room was nice. We never ate anywhere at the resort. For a Hilton, I found it somewhat lacking."

"Menu for breakfast and dinner at the buffet was changed every day. Our experience wad that the food was really good. No complaints here. We knew about the seaweed issue so we went to the local beach which was offered by shuttle and enjoyed the pool daily. Room was clean and very roomy. Facility seemed to be under-staffed but staff that was working was very friendly and helpful and good at their job. Pool bar/resturant had lots of bees, probably due to the sweet drinks ordered. Had daily crafting at the pool, (tie-dye, painting, etc.,) which was wonderful for us crafting folks. Lol. Overall not a bad experience for us. Very pleased."

Divi Little Bay Beach Resort

"Pros- close drive to the airport, GREAT island and BEAUTIFUL water. The beach was amazing. We did not go during the busy season, so we were always able to get cabana or chairs on the beach where we wanted. The beach service was a nice touch too, although we didn't really figure it out until the last day of our trip. Food was really good (limited gluten free options). The size of the resort was wonderful, especially with 6 kiddos. We felt comfortable letting them go together between pool and beach and to the room if needed. It felt very safe. Great location and most staff were kind. The kids loved the parrot, Gizmo, and how he walks around each morning. The main pool area was great for adults and children. Beach front room location couldn't have been closer to sand and was great location to the resort amenities. Cons- staff were not as friendly as other resorts. We paid for all-inclusive but often felt we were inconveniencing staff when we asked for something. Did not like having to wait for a bill each time you eat when you are all-inclusive. This kind of takes away the feel of not worrying about cost and food and we have never had to do this anywhere else. The room (2 queen bed beach front) was small and bad sewage smell, clogged drains, loud air conditioning fan. Resort could have been cleaner but didn't feel dirty. Kayak and rental gear included with A/I but we didn't get to use all week due to their rescue boat being broken- major bummer. Would consider staying again."
