"The pool is full of contaminating algae encrusted on the tiles. The service in the pool waited for more than 20 minutes and nobody helped me. I had to call the recepcion twice. Also, thanks God i order a fish ceviche and they brought to me a mix ceviche including shrimps, etc wich i’m so allergic. I could died that day."
"I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel presents itself as a leading option in the area, I honestly expected better basic amenities. Some essential things were missing for example, there were no bed sheets provided in the room, which is something very simple but important.
Another issue was with the shared showers in the common areas, where the water was constantly running hot and couldn’t be properly adjusted. This made the experience less comfortable than it should have been.
That said, I want to highlight that the staff were friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated their attitude and effort to help.
Overall, I believe that a place positioning itself at this level should offer more complete and better-maintained facilities."
"Very nice setting in the jungle, with all the sounds of nature during the night, right next to Tikal. The restaurant was amazing, we had breakfast at 6.30am before heading to the ruins to beat the crowds. We were allowed to leave our car and use the facility like pool/showers/restaurant after sightseeing Tikal, before driving back to Belize. Our bungalow had 2 beds, a nice huge bathroom with rain forest shower and tub, and a hairdryer to rent at the reception. The staff was very helpful, communicating even before our arrival. We had an awesome one night stay!"
"Beautiful property and a true paradise near Flores. They have a complimentary boat tour every morning to the monkey islands. The breakfast was also wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again. "
"Fabulous hotel with unbelievable staff that go above and beyond in every respect! There is a great pool and a lakefront with amenities including SUP, and kayaks. The included continental breakfast is fabulous, as are the lunches and dinners. The sauna is a must. This is the perfect base for exploring the Mayan ruins and Flores Island. "
